Is SGTL5000XNBA3 a drop-in replacement for SGTL5000XNAA3?

Hi,

I have an existing design using a SGTL5000XNAA3, which is now obsolete.  I see there is the SGTL5000XNBA3, which has the same pinout.  Would switching to the "B" part require a board re-spin or is this a drop-in replacement?

Thanks,

Dan K.

Hello Dan,

I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.

You are correct, the SGTL5000XNAA3 device is obsolete.

In this case, you may use the SGTL5000XNBA3 device as a direct replacement.

Please be aware that there is a slight difference between the packages. You may review the package dimensions from the datasheet.
