External field detection when RF already present

We don't want to turn on the field if the external RF field is present in PN7462. The software enables external field detection and the CLIF_ANA_NFCLD_REG = 0x0C by default though sometimes it is not detecting even if the external field is present.

1. How to set the value of CLIF_ANA_NFCLD_REG? Can you point to the document?
2. What could be the reason for not detecting sometime?

I would like to know if the code and board you are debugging are from NXP? If so, which one? Because the problem you are facing now may be related to both hardware and software.

I use a custom code and board referenced from the NXP WLC CTN730 Poller EVK.
Can you please elaborate on which block of software/hardware is affected? What do we need to configure correctly to ensure proper detection of the external field?
Can you please share the document to debug or configure related parameters?

So, what you use the Demo board is OM2T730R120, right? If yes, then its design resources and reference materials need to sign an NDA with NXP to obtain.
