Exposed pad for PCAL9722

Do Someone can confirm that exposed pad for PCAL9722, SPI I/O expander, must be connected to Vss? I dont find this information in the datasheet or other documentations

Hi

Recommend to connect it to ground for getting better heat dissipation.
