Hi,
      I am new to linux. I have to port linux-2.6 to MPC8248 processor board (EP8248).  What i have is,
       1)  EP8248 Board
       2)  MPC8272ADS BSP
       3)  Code warrior USB TAP Emulator

Can any one tell me, can i use this bsp for EP8248 board.

Also,
I tried downloading the sample images given in the BSP. But After the message "
Uncompressing Kernel Image ... OK" its hanging. Can you please help

Hi,
this seems a problem of your BSP. I have found the same problem using the BSP for the EP8548 version 1.1 with the EP8548 version 1.2, I had to use a new version of the BSP to work with a new version of the mezzanine.
I think that you must use the BSP for the EP8248 or build your own environment from scratch.
