DSP56321 Longevity

Hi There,

Can someone indicate what the longevity "plan" is/was for the DSP56321 especially the DSP56321VL275.

What was the launch date, does it have an extended longevity of 15, 20 or 25 years and until when it will stay in the longevity "plan"?

Hello Thomas,

DSP56321 has been launched in Feb 2005 and the lifetime is guaranteed 10years, as you can easily check in NXP Product Longevity Program:

Please note that it does not necessarily mean EOL (End of Life). It means that rest of the product life depends on customers' demand.

Hi,

I noticed the status for the DSP56321VL275 shows now End-of-Life, but there is no last-time-buy date published. Is the status the same as in May 2022 or did the status change since May 2022 ?

Can I still purchase 3 trays from NXP? (i.e 378 devices)
