Dear Team,
I am looking at PTN3366BSMP for DP-HDMI conversion. From the datasheet, I understand that it is focused on passive adapters. My source doesn't support DP++. In fact, I would be using a source that has eDP/DP output; wherein the DP O/P doesn't even support audio. Will this IC work for my application? Can you suggest a better one if not? How can I get reference schematics for the same? Does this IC provide protocol translation or only voltage translation?
Source supports DP 1.2a, eDP 1.4
