Hi all, I am using NXP GUI guider to build a gui for my device. Is there any way to copy the events associated with widgets and have them carry over to a new screen? i.e. I have a button on a screen that has an event associated with it, after I duplicate the screen, the button widget now has no event associated with it and I have to manually reassign the event to the button. Is there a way to allow widgets to keep their associated events when duplicated? Thanks for your help!

Hi @chand1er,

At the moment, the GUI Guider tool does not have the ability to duplicate the widget along with all of the events, even on the same screen. I believe this is because the duplicate has a new name path <screen name -> widget name> so the associated events applied to the previous path, not the current, and therefore the events disappear.

I will comment this behavior with the GUI Guider team so they can deliberate about adding this feature. In the meantime, you will have to continue manually adding the events for duplicated widgets.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your suggestions.

BR,
Edwin.

Hi Alondra, I am using GUI guider 1.10.1 and I'm using just the simulator for now as I have not selected a processor yet. It is in the very early stages of development.
