Communication between WebUSB and Smart Card NXP

I would like to use the WebUSB API to communicate with the smart card, but some argue that this is not secure. Can you tell me if it is safe to use WebUSB to communicate with Smart Card NXP and if possible give me some examples?

I'm not clear which type card do you want to use, but as far as I understand, we can encrypt the communication frame to ensure the security an integrity.

You can refer to the related documentation of NXP to learn how to encrypt data.
