Hello,
I'm currently building an USBDM v4.8 (JS16 Minimal version for HCS08/CFv1 targets). I routed the circuit myself from the schematics.
When I plug the controller in the USB port, a “JS16” device is detected with Vendor ID 15A2 and Product ID 0038.
I installed the Bootloader GUI (ICP software) from this page: http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=DEMO9S08JS16&fpsp=1&tab=Design_Tools_... as explained in the documentation.
When I invoke the driver installation wizard with the bootloader driver path ( C:\Program Files\Freescale\JS16 USB Driver\Automatic Bootloader USB Driver ), the wizard claims the it found a driver for the device but couldn’t install it because of following error : File not found.
I use Windows 7 x64, maybe this be an issue? Do anybody have any clue what could be the source of this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Am I the firmware download mistake?now computer cannot identify chip,i how can use bootloader jsfamily GUI firmware download again.
Dear All,
As Gorlik has indicated,
Neither the driver install nor the actual GUI bootloader program appear to work on windows 64-bit.
It will be necessary to do the initial programming on a Win32 machine.
The USBDM software works on Win64.
Sorry!

Dear All,
Because of the problems with the Freescale JS16 bootloader running under windows-64bit I have written an alternative bootloader customised for USBDM only.
This is available here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbdm/files/Version%204.9/1.%20Installation_4_9/
This has been tested under windows7-64bit.
