TBDML MAX232

Hi,

   Just a short question 

I'm currently building my TBDML. I have tons of MAX232CPE chips and would like to use one of these to build my TBDML. I know the caps are not the same  1.0uF instead of 0.1uF caps (not sure) but also I think the CPE version is a bit slower. 

someone is able to confirm that it should work with 1.0uf capacitor and  a MAX232CPE chip ?

 it use a max232 to put firmware into the TBDML mcu.

Hello,

Any type of MAX232 or similar would be suitable for this purpose.

Dear Lyncos,

I don't see how a MAX232 is useful for a TBDML.  Do you mean a MON08 programmer?

I've  used a MAX232CSE (which is similar) for this OK.
