jeremygeslin I tried to autostart a reader skript with editing “/etc/rc.local” with a command analogous to this:
/bin/su -c "cd /home/pi/dpaZ0/;./main" - pi
/home/pi/dpaZ0/main is the path to the script.
The reader don`t startbecause the program hangs in an erlier ioctl to the display. This is probably not related to the reader but I do not want to exclude any causes. Can this have to do anything with reader?
Hi Marion,
I suppose your command "/bin/su -c "cd /home/pi/dpaZ0/;./main" - pi" runs fine when executed from a terminal.
Did you tried to add it to .bashrc file for automatic start ? did it work from there ?
Regards,
Jeremy.
Hi Jeremy!
Thank you very much for your urgent reply.
I will try it @the weekend - today I am celebrating my degree (HTL).
May I report again if problems arise?
