PN7160 antenna matching

Hi,

The app note describes the default configuration for reader mode in chapter 4.4.1, figure 16 like this

But on the evaluation board, chapter 4.1, figure 2

It has swapped places of RXP and RXN

I'm assuming that figure 2 is wrong here. Has somebody else thought about it?

Dear Vestin,

As the TX and RX are "symmetrical" pins. Thus it does not matter if you connect TX1+RXN & TX2+RXP or TX1+RXP & TX2+RXN.

But I agree it should be consistent in our documentation. We will update it in the next release.
