Hi.  I'm looking at the LPC5500-Series parts and see they have a Flexcomm with up to 8 SPI ports.  What I want is a SPI that has an 8-bit data bus.  Is this possible with these parts?  If not, are there any other NXP MCUs that support this?  I need the Arm TrustZone feature.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response.  I'm not referring to doing 8-bit packets over a single wire.  I mean have 8 physical wires instead of the single MOSI wire.  Can you tell me more explicitly how to do this?

Thanks,

Charles

Hi Charles

For SPI, Data frames of 4 to 16 bits supported directly. Larger frames supported by software.

Have a nice day,
