K64F with KW41Z module ?

Hello everybody,

I'm discovering Thread protocol and for the needs of my project, I would like to create a communication card that would be able to act as a border router. Going through NXP documentation, I found two possible implementation:

- i.MX6 UL as host processor, running Linux, and a radio module with KW41Z

- K64F as processor, running RTOS, associated with a MCR20A

Can one of these implementation be certified through inheritance?

Should one use K64F with KW41Z module ?

What are the steps in order to acquire development software
