I designed a PCB that integrates an ESP32 and an MFRC522 RFID module. However, the ESP32 was initially unable to communicate with the MFRC522 until I reduced the SPI communication speed to 200 kHz. Even then, the reader was still unable to detect RFID tags.
Additionally, I need the MFRC522 to support three external antennas via IPEX connectors.
I would appreciate guidance on improving my design to ensure stable communication between the ESP32 and MFRC522, and to properly support external antennas.
