Protection TAG

Hi , I need to select TAG NFC (prefered NTAG216) that i can protect write, delete and format. so after i write data inside and applycated special protection no one can be delete or format TAG.

Another question, the best security is that I can apply also password read protection for read data into tag .

Which is the best tah for my special request protection? NTAG216?

Dear Gianluca Di Simone,

Hope you are doing great, the NTAG 216 is a good choice if you do not require an smart card or higher security features, NTAG 216 can be secured with a 32 bit password and you can protect pages for R/W you can use the AUTH0 to protect it from reading upon authentication and use the lock bytes to lock the tag to read only, prevents any changes to the tag content after the lock.
The following points needs to be considered, to have to tag fully locked:
• NFC Forum read/write access capability in the Capability Container
• Static lock bytes
• Dynamic lock bytes
• Configuration Lock

we have  solutions with higher security like DES or AES encryption.
