Hello there,
I am developing an application using ntag5 link, for that, I need to write some initial data to tag and write configurations.
For that purpose, I need to know that, can I write the ntag5 link with the help of PC? Without the need of mobile phone. Is there any device available? How it can be used?
Hello @komal18apr, Good Day!
Thank you very much for your interest in our products.
In order to start exploring the NTAG 5 Link features and communicating with it via I2C we recommend using the NTAG 5 I2C Cockpit application (available at product page), which is a GUI application running on Windows platform that allows easily sending commands to the NTAG 5 using an LPC11U37H NXP's MCU host. Please refer to NTAG 5 I2C Cockpit application Manual for further details on the setup and usage.
For communicating with the NTAG 5 via NFC, you may take a look at the NTAG 5 NFC Cockpit application which is the RF variant of the application and it can be used with the CLEV6630B, PNEV5180B or PNEV7462C development boards.
You may also take a look at our recommended RFIDDiscover Software application, which is a tool that is meant to be used with the PEGODA Contactless Smart Card Reader And offers an easy way of exploring the NTAG 5 and other smart cards' features.
Please consider that in order to have access to this last tool you would need to sign an NDA since this software is part of NXP's secure resources.
My best regards,
Daniel
