Testing CLRC663 plus development board with NTAG212

1. Load protocol (106kBd/s) - no error

2. RF field On - no error

3. Activate layer 3 - ERROR:RFProtocolTypeAService:RequestA Failed HAL,IO_TIMEOUT

How to resolve this?

 Before activating Layer 3, please approach the tag.

The solution which you have given is not working for me. Can you give me other solution for it.

Tag was already placed on the antenna of the development board. Antenna of the tag is very small 3.0x3.0mm.If output power density of the larger antenna is lower, since this tag's antenna is small induced power might be insufficient right? Could this be the problem? Larger tags(which came with the development kit) works. Is there a way to increase the power ? or If i swap the larger antenna for the smaller one will power density increase?
