MIFAREdiscover fail to work with Ntag424dna

Hi!

 I try to program my NTAG424Dna using MIFAREdiscover program:

- We purchased Pegoda MFE710 kit

- Installed win10 drivers

- Updated  Pegoda firmware

- Started MIFAREdiscover

- Succeed to perform Readers->Show cards 

- Open NTAG section

- Open NTAG->NTAG NDEF Message -> NTAG424Dna -> Select

- Try to select by DF name

- Get error "HAL,IO_TIMEOUT"

   What is wrong? How can I continue?

Hi , 

Hope you are doing great, the reason why this is happening is that you are not activating the tag into the ISO layers, you are trying to send a command but the tag needs to be activated into layer 3 then layer 4 of iso 14443, so in order to accomplish this please  first send the activate idle command then the RATS + PPS, then try to select the  DF name as usual, please check this post I answered for DESFire light, the procedure should be very simple from first step to step 2.6.
