How to change the default NDEF message of NTAG I2C plus on Mass Production?

Hello,

According to UM10966_Android Demo,

There are default NDEF message on NTAG I2C plus EEPROM.

I'd like to know how we can change the default NDEF message of it to customize on Mass Production.

What I guess is to change it through MCU via USB port to PC.

I'd appreciate if let me know how to do it and related documents number for refer.

Hello Andy,

Hope you are doing well. You will need either a reader or a way to communicate to the NTAG I2C , I would recommend you to get a reader like the PN7462 or another one of our available readers in this page and write the NDEF by using one reader. The NDEF can be built using the NFC Forum specification.

Another way would be through I2C. But this should take more time, having to make the physical connection of the SDA and SCL pins. But you can use any of the options.

Have there ever been any case that NXP provided customers with NTAG I2C plus IC after changing the default NDEF message to customize what customers want to?
