My company has developed a product using PN532 chip and is now looking to get it certified (FCC and CE).

According to our research we need to change the following parameters :

  1. Channel Selection
  2. Continuous Transmission
  3. Bit Rate Selection
  4. Power Selection

I read the datasheet could not find a way to change these parameters. Can anyone help me ?

Thanks

Hello,

The information about the commands is available in the following App Note: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/nxp/application-notes/AN133910.pdf

Please note that this is all the information we have at our reach since this device is not recommended for new designs. Thank you for your comprehension.

BR,

Ivan.

is the PN532 allowed in the US? was also planning to design an RFID reader based on PN532 for door access but based on our research, 902~928MHz is the allowed frequency in the US. can PN532 is still be used which operates at 13.56MHz?
