Humidity of 90%

Hi,

are the pressure sensors MPXV2010DP and MPXV2053DP to be used with an ambient condition of a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 90%? In the data sheet I have no information found.

Hi Guenter,

The two pressure sensors you mentioned have an operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, so 45 degrees still good.

Now for standard pressure sensor products, any environment other than dry air, will have some impact on the reliability and lifetime of the product. In general, our pressure sensors were designed and are warranted for use in clean dry air only. However, we offer an application note (AN3728) that mentions the media compatibility for our pressure sensors.

Also I'd like to recommend using the MPVZ5010 series instead because this other pressure sensors come with an special gel, which is media resistant and is more likely to successfully measure the pressure in a highly moist environment and last for long.
