I am restoring aFRDM-K82F that has been used with the KITFS5600FRDMEVM. It was set up some years ago and the files and knowledge for that have been difficult to find.
I followed the firmware recovery procedure in UM11526. The OpenSDA firmware has been successfully restored and the board now enumerates as FRDM-K82FD.
The next step in UM11526 requires the following firmware:
nxp-gui-fw-frdmk82f-usb_hid-fs5600_xxx.bin
The manual states that this file is located in the MCU folder of the NXP GUI package. However, the current NXPGUI_PR_11.1.0 package no longer contains the K82F firmware; its MCU directory only contains KL25Z and S32K144 firmware.
Does anyone know where to find this frimware or an older NXPGUI package containing it?
I only need the FS5600 application firmware at this point. The K20/OpenSDA bootloader and FRDM-K82F interface firmware are already working.
