Dear NXP Technical Support Team,
We are using the SC16IS740 with a 3.3 V supply.
Could you please confirm the maximum external crystal oscillator frequency that can be connected directly between XTAL1 and XTAL2?
The datasheet mentions:
Applies to external clock, crystal oscillator max 24 MHz.
