Hello NXP Team,
I am evaluating the VIT Speech-to-Intent (S2I) solution for implementing natural language voice control on the i.MX RT700 EVK.
While reviewing the VIT S2I documentation and supported device information, I noticed that the i.MX RT700 is not explicitly listed among the supported devices/examples for the S2I natural language model. However, the RT700 includes a HiFi4 DSP and NPU, which appear suitable for voice AI applications.
Could you please clarify the following?
Is the VIT Speech-to-Intent (S2I) engine officially supported on the i.MX RT700 EVK?
If yes, are there any reference examples, SDK packages, or porting guidelines available for RT700?
If S2I is not currently supported on RT700, are there plans to add support in the future?
What alternative NXP-supported natural language understanding (NLU) or speech-to-intent solutions would you recommend for the i.MX RT700 platform?
Currently, I can see that VIT Wake Word and Voice Command technology supports several i.MX RT devices, but I am specifically interested in natural language / intent-based voice control rather than fixed command recognition.
