Imx8xm IPC A53 cores

I am trying to use the Rmesg lite library to send messages from A53 core 1 to A53 core 2. I will be using the MU in both cores to synchronize the core messaging. Is this feasable, and is there any example of this protocol on github?

I am using the IMX8mm Som
