TDA8035 behaviour when only VDD(INTF)is present, not powered VDDP

I would like to know how the TDA8035 behaves when:

  • VDD(INTF)=3.3V
  •  VDDP= 0V (not powered)

It seems that the TDA8035 is reset mode but I'm not sure... Could you confirm?

Is this condition permitted for a long period of time ( > severals hours)?

What is the VDD(INTF)consumption in this case?

Best Regards

Hello @sylvainbouriot

When powered on with VDD(INTF) = 3.3V and VDDP = 0V:
The TDA8035 will remain in reset state and will not attempt to boot the smart card.
This state is allowed to persist for an extended period without damaging the chip or causing abnormal behavior.
When VDDP = 0 and the chip is in reset/power-down mode:
The typical current for VDD(INTF) is very small, generally in the range of several µA to tens of µA. The current consumed is primarily for digital holding.

Re: TDA8035 behaviour when only VDD(INTF)is present, not powered VDDP

Thank you, Kaily, for that very precise answer.

When the TDA8035 is in active mode, what is the approximate consumption on VDD(INTF) for VDD(INTF) = 3.3 V?

Best Regards.

Sylvain

with VDDP = 3.3V or 5V ...
