Dear NXP,
Is it possible to switch off the 2.4GHz completely?
We want to disable the support for the 2.4GHz at the driver level.
From this link: Disable 5GHz band for 88W8987, we can see that during driver load, the dev_cap_mask can be used to enable support for specific bands. However, there is no documentation that explains how each bit of dev_cap_mask should be configured.
If we only want to switch off the 2.4GHz, what value should dev_cap_mask be set to?
Hi,
You can refer to https://community.nxp.com/t5/Wi-Fi-Bluetooth-802-15-4/How-to-disable-the-2-4GHz-band-on-the-88W8897/....

Hi,
We would like to use dev_cap_mask to disable 2.4GHz capabilities.
Could you please provide us with more information about dev_cap_mask?

Peter
