Is the NXP S32R45 Evaluation Board (EVB) compatible with the NXP TEF82XX antenna board in terms of physical connection and functional operation?
Hello,
The TEF82xx‑CAB is specifically designed to integrate with S32R41-EVB or S32R29-RADB, using dedicated high-speed connectors exposed on those boards.
The S32R45 EVB lacks these connector pairings, so the antenna board cannot be directly attached.
You cannot directly connect a standard TEF82xx antenna board (CAB) to an S32R45 EVB—no matching connectors or compatibility.
If you need to work with TEF82xx transceivers on S32R45, you must use a custom development platform like NovTech's Renan™, which integrates the board hardware, proper RF connectors, and requisite software support.
