How to program S32Z280-400EVB using JTAG on MBDT?

I'm connecting the S32Z280-400EVB with JTAG on pin J129 JTAG.

The hardware I'm using is Jlink.

I opened the model s32ze_can_transmit_ebt, and download the program via JTAG.

However, the following it said that the connection cannot be detected.

Re: How to program S32Z280-400EVB using JTAG on MBDT?

hi,Wei_H

The current official documentation and the "Quick Start" process default to using NXP S32 Debug Probe.

https://www.nxp.com/document/guide/getting-started-with-s32z280-400evb:GS-S32Z280-400EVB?section=out...

For use the Jlink for the S32Z280-400EVB, I will help you to check if exist limitation or some setting need to attention.

hi,kodyw

Thank you for your reply.

1.Will J-Link be supported in NXP's roadmap?

>>>J-link is third-party tool, need to download the algorithm to support J-Link debugging of the S32Z, which requires the official provision of J-link.

2.and there is an openSDA on the S32Z280-400EVB evaluation board, will it be supported in NXP MBDT toolbox?

>>>Currently, the openSDA cannot be used to debug the S32Z280-400EVB board. The S32DS Debugger probe and Trace32 usually be used to debug the board.
