Dear NXP,
I understand that the Geniatech APC800 uses an i.MX 8M Plus and a Kinara Ara-2 connected via a PCIe Gen3 interface.
As far as I know, the i.MX 8M Plus supports PCIe Gen3 x1 (about 1 GB/s), while the Ara-2 supports PCIe Gen4 x4 (about 8 GB/s in total).
Given that the i.MX 8M Plus is limited to a Gen3 x1 link, I’d like to know whether it can fully utilize the Ara-2’s maximum NPU performance of 40 TOPS.
If any part of my understanding is incorrect, I would appreciate it if you could clarify the correct details.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Andy
