HDMI Interface is not working in I.MX8QM Evaluation Board.

Hi,

HDMI Interface is not working in I.MX8QM Evaluation Board and all other interfaces are working

Previously HDMI interface worked properly, and we are using same previous SD card and Board booting through SD card.

Now Issue Showing as "cdns-mhdp-imx 56268000.hdmi: Falling back to sysfs fallback for hdmitxfw.bin".

Please help us to resolve this Issue.

The i.MX8 QM provides an HDMI transmitter capable of supporting an HDMI2.0 compatible output, a Display Port 1.3 compatible output, or an embedded Display Port 1.4 compatible output. 

Here which version BSP are you using? Are you using the demo images or the images you build youself? 

The firmware file hdmitxfw.bin should be present in /lib/firmware/.

On yur board, run:

ls /lib/firmware/hdmitxfw.bin

If the file is missing, that’s the root cause.
