Hi team,
As far as customer and I understand, S32K39-37-36 were designed for safe EV control applications:
- Motor control (3- or 6-phase motor, Si IGBT/SiC/GaN transistors)
- Power conversion (DCDC, OBC)
- Battery management system (BMS) control
- Vehicle control unit (VCU) or domain control
Particularly, CoolFlux DSP is built to implement FIR filtering capability for motor resolver application (in S32K39-36), postprocessing raw data from the SDADCs and provide the final samples according to the configured sampling rate.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Leonardo
"CF" means CoolFlux,
Petr
Thanks for your feedback.
What does "CF" means in the acronym "CFSDADC" please?
Hello,
as mention in the thread the main (and only) use case of the CoolFlux DSP is the motor control application. No other use case support was requested during the development phase. In case of other/new use cases an analysis would need to be performed to find out if the FW as is can support any other use case. Or there would be some changes required or different version of th e FW with different functionality would be needed.
Regarding the second question. Instead of the SDADC input stream the CFSDADC FW can work with DMA-WRITE buffer and clock threshold scheduling mode. I am not sure if RTD driver has support for this at this point though.
In general the CFSDADC FW supports following processing of input data (Either SDADC of DMA-WRITE buffer). Up-samping, FIR filtering, Decimation, Adjustment (gain or offset), IIR filtering.
Best regards.
Jindřich.
