I am trying to install MCUX for VS code onto my i-mac/Monterey. I connected my FRDM-RW612 board and tried to download "Getting Started" from "nxp.com/FRDM-RW612/start" but got a message "Page not found"
I have installed VS Code, selected "Extensions" and from the drop down menu, "MCUXpresso for VS Code". The only options are "Disable" or "uninstall". I then ran the MCUX installer but got the message: -
Successfully checked for updates. The application is up to date.
[error] No Homebrew installation found!
The installer cannot install it automatically, so please manually install
Homebrew from https://brew.sh and restart the installer.
Should I re-install my 1 year old installation of MCUX and just use it without VS, but unfortunately a VS example is just what I need.
Please help before I go mad.
Hello,
Hope you are doing well. Could you please clarify where did you get that link?
You can find the Get Started on the following link: https://www.nxp.com/document/guide/getting-started-with-frdm-rw612:GS-FRDM-RW612
Could you clarify what application are you using?
I would recommend checking this community post: FRDM-RW612 Getting Started. Wi-Fi CLI on VS Code - NXP Community
Also, if you don’t want to use VSCode, you can use MCUXpresso IDE: MCUXpresso IDE for NXP MCUs
Best Regards,
