i.MX8MP can bus examples on windows 10 IoT

Hello NXP experts!

In the FlexCAN-interrupt example under the W21H2-1-5-2-imx-windows-bsp\examples\can directory, data is sent and received using interrupts with a single Message Buffer. I want to use FIFO with DMA for CAN data reception. Do you have more CAN examples I can check out?

we’re currently experiencing issues with all CAN reception methods on Windows 10/11 IoT using the NXP imxcan_mc driver. Regardless of whether we use interrupts or polling, or Message Buffer / legacy FIFO modes, we are consistently losing frames. It seems that incoming CAN Frames are not being read quickly enough from HW registers.

Additionally, when the system is under load (for example, simply opening Windows Explorer during polling or while waiting for an interrupt), the frame loss becomes significantly worse.

Have you encountered as user similar issues or behavior?

sorry we don't have more CAN examples. 

Just an information that NXP transitioned the current Windows 10/11 support to Paid support.
