Offset errors are typically caused due to device to device offset variation (trim errors), mechanical stresses (mounting stresses), shifts due to temperature and aging.
Performing auto-zero helps to reduce these errors. Please have a look at our AN1636 “Implementing Auto-Zero for Integrated Pressure Sensors” for more detailed information about this topic.
