Hi,

I need to use MBDT tools to configure 4 PWMs channels (Ah, Al, Bh, Bl, CH, CL, Dh, Dl) and 10 ADCs of S32k344 at 20 kHz/50 kHz. For PWMs block there has call functions and need explanation. ADC and PWMs need to synchronize. Please help me to give a demo model where I can perfrom the following tasks. I want to provide sine signals in the 3 PWM channels (ABC) and other one is the neutral (D). Deadtime is 1 usec. ADC signals are analog signals from 0 to 5 V.

Thanks

Nayeem

Hello @narafat

As a starting point, could you please you the following NXP Community article, detailing ADC and PWM configurations and how to use them in Simulink models? I think that the information presented here would help you get a clearer understanding on the peripherals operating modes, and the steps necessary to be taken for configuring them as your application requires.

Hope this will help you,

Irina

Hi Irina,

Documents does not provide me the dead time configuration of the epwm channels like AH, AL and maybe 1 usec deadtime. How can I configure that. Can you help me to find that. Thanks in advance.

Hi @narafat

As MBDT integrates the RTD (Real-Time Drivers) for configuring and accessing the hardware peripherals, I would like to point you to the following Application Note

The document presents a 3-phase Sensorless PMSM Motor Control application developed using RTD APIs, hence, in there you will find more details on the dead time, how it can be configured, and what are the components that need to be enabled for achieving your use case.

Hope this helps,

Irina
