• what is difference between MTRDEVKSBNK144  and MTRDEVKSPNK144. I want development kit which has PMSM with HALL sensors. Which Should I prefer?
• In both development kit NXP has used same motor though one kit is for BLDC and one is for PMSM.

There is no HW difference between the 2 kits: PMSM vs BLDC

The HW hit itself is basically the same - same motor, same S32K144 and the same MotorGD shield.

There are 2 configuration differences when you order one or the other - depending on which one you order it comes pre-configured from factory with:

1. The J9/J10 and J11 are set for measuring the phase currents (PMSM) or phase backEMF (BLDC)
2. The MCU flash is pre-loaded with the PMSM or BLDC application code

Apart of those, there are no differences.
