DEVKIT-MPC5744P random startup time of LED blinking test

Hi all,

with the mentioned devkit and MBDT in Simulink we have created a simple LED blinking test using a pulse generator. Downloading of *.elf built on an inhouse build server goes via S32 Design Studio. After flashing the device is powered off and on again, then:

1. the LED is green but not at full brightness
2. after some random time 1s, 10s, or even longer the LED starts blinking

When we compile and run an example that comes with the S32 DS there is no such random time. ISR controlled LED blinking always starts right away.

Is there anything that can be done to avoid this random startup time?

Actually the board sometimes issued an error message which I can't remember. Some other postings here were suggesting this was due to a hardware error.

The board was eventually sent back.
