MQX4.1.0.1 patch

Hi guys,

Long time since I posted.

I finally was forced to update from MQX3.7 to MQX4.1 today. I see there is a patch, not sure if I need to put it in. So...

I have spent 20 minutes trying to get the patch in but instead of doing what we use to always do, apparently you guys use GIT Patch or similar (I have no idea what that is, and after searching I see I have to learn a hole new tool)

Can someone tell me how to get this patch to work? I dont really have time to learn a new tool, so a the part of teh patch installation guide that says "execute this command .... patch blah blah" needs details other than "use git patch or similar". Please i dont have time to chase down new tools and make them work :smileysad:

Hi Carl,

I guess your concern is regarding the patch from 4.1.0 to 4.1.0.1.  The versioning tool is Turtoise Subversion (SVN), you can donwload it from http://tortoisesvn.net/about.html .

It is a Windows integrated tools, I hope it helps.

Hi Carl.

there is no patch can upgrade MQX3.7 to MQX4.1 directly. user need uninstall MQX3.7 then install CW4.1.  here is MQX4.1 download link

MQX: Freescale MQX™ Software Solutions

"Freescale MQX RTOS 4.1.0.1 Patch" is a patch for MQX4.1, add new supported chips and bug fix or MQX4.1. it can not be installed to MQX3.7.
