random seed generator

Hello all,

I'm using MPC5602P on CW2.9 platform. I want to generate random seed in my application. Mainly I want to use CORE registers for generating this. How to use CORE registers? Kindly help me in generating this.

For the work with core registers refer to the core reference manual chapter2:

For random number generation you can use for example PLL lock time measurement.

Hi Peter,

As you said, for random number generation one can use for PLL lock time measurement. My question is there is no register in MPC5602P which gives lock time data.Can you kindly suggest which register exactly I need to check to get the Lock time as random number variable.
