opening an example project error

Hi, im trying to open an example project from S32 which is called i2c_transfere as shown bellow

when its oppened it doesnt give me all of the source files and handle files so i cant use the example project i will be having errors as shown below:

how can i get all of the files so i can work on it? please help me by guiding me with photos or instructions.

Hi, try to generate PE code, e.g. through menu Project -> Generate Processor Expert Code Then build again. However seems you are using older S32DS and SDK. Try to use latest one S32DS 2.1 and S32_SDK_S32PA_RTM_3.0.3. BR, Petr

ok Mr peter i did download it and started using the example code without doing any modifications to is, im trying to send a simple message of data using the sample code i2c_transfere_mpc5748g.

firslty i connected the pins to 8 and 9 of sda and scl, and attached one of them to a logic analyzer to see if i can get a signal, the other logic analyzer pin is sent to the grnd.

i debug without any errors, but cannot get a message on the logic analyzer , also "istransferok" is false.

you can see the code bellow. its the same as the example given without modifications, can you please guide me to how to be able to send a message and detect it by logic analyzer?

I did a connection as example description suggests

did you change anything in the code?

and where should i write data i  want to send?

Hi,

no, I did not. I just created new project from example (from SDK3.0.3), generated PE code, built and debugged on DEVKIT-MPC5748G (rev D1). Follow example description.

i added break points, my istransferok is true until after this line  (void) I2C_DRV_MasterSendDataBlocking(INST_I2C1, masterTxBuffer, TRANSFER_SIZE, true, OSIF_WAIT_FOREVER);

i connected pe8 and pe9 as well on my kit , connected sda to analyzer and to ground, i dont seem to get anything, can i see your connections?

Hi,

to see the same do below connection

and connect to analyzer. In this example PE9/PE8 is slave's pins and PE11/PE10 master's pins.
