Zipwire Possible Data Rate

Hi,

I have a question about the data rate of the ZipWire interface.

From what I understand from datasheet and reference manual, Zipwire only works in two speeds: low and high and no other data rate in between is possible. Is this correct?

For example, the MPC5777C datasheet has the LFAST fmax at 240Mbps while the MPC5777M has it as 312/320 Mbps. Does this mean that both MCUs cannot communicate through ZipWire at high speed, since one will try at 240 and the other at 320 or is it possible for the MPC5777M to run at 240Mpbs?

It should be possible to set up both devices for 240Mbps, apparently MPC5777M will not run at maximum performance. Both specifications are maximum values.
