MPC5777C software reset

It seems that when an application causes an exception (IVOR1) it is not possible to recover by issuing a software reset (by writing to the SIU_SRCR).  The only way to recover is to hard (power-on) reset.

Is this a known errata ? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

the same topic is already discussed here:

I checked this on my board and I can't see such behavior. I'm able to successfully reset the device by SIU_SRCR in IVOR1 handler.

Do you have some simple project to reproduce it?
