MPC5748G : Flexray Shadow RAM and FIFO difference

Hi,

I am reading Reference Manual of MPC5748G microcontroller.

I want to know what is the difference between shadow RAM message buffer configuration and FIFO message buffer configuration.

As both configurations are used only for receive frames.

As described above.

Receive Shadow buffer is used for receiving data (which age going to be validated)

Once data are validated the are going into FIFO receive MB.

Always when you want to receive data.

I am referring MPC5748G Reference Manual, Rev. 7.1, 01/2019 and FlexRay specification document. 

Other than this any other documents or application notes or manuals are availabe which can be helpful for implementing FlexRay driver using NXP microcontroller ?

I am using DEVKIT-MPC5748G development board.
