MPC5744P DCF

Respected NXP engineer: Hello, I am using MPC5744P, and I want to ask a question about DCF Records. I mistakenly write all the data in part of the address (0x00400200-0x00400300) of DCF Records as 00. This caused me to be unable to debug via JTAG (PEmicro). Is there any way to save it.

Unfortunately not. This is just the situation leading in permanent lock of the device.

UTEST area (where DCF records are being stored) is OTP area (one time programmable), once you program it you cannot erase it.

      Hello, I have a question. I found in the MPC5744P Reference Manual that there is a description about the factory erase mechanism. Does this mean that if I forget the password, I can use this mechanism to unlock it? If so, could you please provide some examples or notes to show me how to use the factory erase mechanism?

This feature is not available for users, it can only be erased in NXP factory.
