MPC56XX Compilers and mwcceppc

Could you help me about below questions?

1. What compilers can be used for MPC56XX microcontrollers?
2. Is mwcceppc a compiler that is developed by the NXP? Does it differ from GNU compilers?
3. What is the mean of "MW" which I've seen in some related topics about compilers in the NXP community?

What compilers can be used for MPC56XX microcontrollers?

From the commonly used ->  GHS, windriver, gcc. There could be others but we use these.

Is mwcceppc a compiler that is developed by the NXP? Does it differ from GNU compilers?
