MPC565 EVB Selecte issue

Hi Sir,

I want to develop MPC565 chip and need to buy EVB for it, but the numbering relationship confuses me.

The EVB introduced on the website is this one : https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/automotive-development-platforms/hardware-tools-access...

If I need a full simulation development, do I need a combination of the following two?
1. MPC5646C Devlce and Target Adapters :https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/automotive-development-platforms/hardware-tools-access...

2. MPC56xxVXBOARDS
https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/automotive-development-platforms/mpc56xx-mcu-platforms...

I have a question..

MPC5656C-DB It has up to 208pin, 256pin and MPC565 BGA 388pin
How to use in combination?

Could anyone help me clarify the problem for buy a suitable EVB development MPC565 chip?

Hi,

if you need to have access also to Nexus connector for tracing, it is necessary to select 256BGA package. Smaller packages have not such option or it's necessary to use vertical setup. The EVB boards can be found here:

If you are looking for whole kit (motherboard + daughter card) this is the right part number: MKT564B256BSB3M

I can see that versions with sockets are not available anymore, there's only option with soldered MCU.

Anyway, MPC5646C is relatively old product, period for guaranteed availability ends in 2026:

If possible, I would consider newer devices like MPC57xx or S32K1 or S32K3.
