MPC5604S - PCR register update Issue

I am using MPC5604s controller and eclipse based code warrior IDE.

- CodeWarrior for MCU
Version: 10.7
Build Id:160721

When I try to configure

SIU.PCR[98].R = 0x0200 and

SIU.PCR[97].R = 0x0200,

then in the register view its not getting reflected. Its showing 0x0000

Please find the screenshot attached.

Is this issues related to IDE and debugger or with my code ? Kindly guide me.

could you please send me your project? Which debug probe you use?

I tried with Lauterbach debugger with the project below and it worked correct on my side.
