MPC5566 EVB is in continuous fault and reset mode

I have two MPC5566 EVBs. On one board code is uploading (using PE micro USB Multilink & CW 5.9.0) & its working fine but on second board the FAULT & RESET LEDs are continuously glowing.

And while uploading code on second board following error is repeating:

1.Debugger retrying force to background mode.

2. Can not enter background mode.

Hi,

what were the last steps before this problem? Could you check the reset line by oscilloscope? Is it low all the time after power-on? Are there the same jumper settings on both boards? Have you measured supply voltages?

The jumper setting on both boards is same & supply voltages are also proper.

The reset line waveform is continuously high (3.9V) after power-on unless RESET switch is pressed.

I have also observed that on working board only LED_SPEED is continuously glowing while on faulty board LED_LINK, LED_SPEED & LED_ACT all are continuously glowing.

Hi,

can you see 3.9V on reset on both boards? Did you check that by oscilloscope or did you just measured the voltage?
